Acts 2
So uhhh tonight I read acts 2, my key verse was Acts 2:34-35 “…Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool…”
This verse gives me a sort of reassurence for my life, because no matter what I do or who hates me or has anything against me, as long as I have God in my life that He will take care of me no matter what the situation is. God is capable of doing anything and everything.
My prayer for this chapter is,
“Dear Lord, make my enemies my footstool lord, make the ones who don’t like me or the ones who despise me realize that they’re wrong. Lord watch over me and keep me safe, God take me in your loving arms and make things visible to me, Lord I pray that my “enemies” will come to know you Lord and have an amazing life with you. In your name I pray. Amen”
Acts 1
So tonight I read Acts one, this chapter had a few things in it that hit me, but the one that hit me the most was acts 1:7-8. “the father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere”
This verse made me realize that even more that you shouldn’t worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will worry about itself, because God has already planned and forgave me for everything that will happen tomorrow.
My prayer is/was: Dear Lord, I pray that you will use me in a way that no one can imagine, I pray that you open my eyes to an amazing future and life with you, Lord I pray that you have an amazing and incredible plan for me. Lord as I live my life I pray that you’re with me in the things I do to serve you today, tomorrow and forever. In your glorious name I pray, Amen
My life consists of only work
So, all I do is work, I’ve said it and I’ll say it again. I work six days a week each day is 8 hours. It’s boring.
Work.
I work so much, who knew that McDonald’s would mAkeyou work so much, I work 6 days a week each day is an 8 hour day. I love the people at McDonald’s though, super nice people, some of the people who come however are complete jerks, I hate them… The customer always has to be right though. Blah blah. My first pay check should be around 350 so it should be to bad.
First day of “work”
so, today was the first day of “work” at McDonald’s, it’s super boring, maybe because all I did watch videos on the computer about hospitality and food safety. The were both about an hour long and super boring!! They were interactive too, like I had to answer random questions in the middle of the and then a big quiz at the end. During the second video a BIG lady came in and was like “you’re not going to like it” I asked why of course, she said “people are going to take advantage of me and make me do everything and treat me like a 5 year old” I told her I would lay the smack down on them LOL, jk I told her that it happens at nearly every job, and even in school I told her, I was thinking in my mind “Jeez lady you’re like 45 and you don’t know how society works!?” tomorrow I work from 11-3 so come visit me, lata!
long day..
well, the day started off ok. I slept over dennis house last night. I woke up at like 1040 and watched strange wilderness, it was a bit innapropriate at parts. After that I went home and showered and went on facebook for a while. At about 245 I went to pick up my brother at church, when I got back I went to the weselyn tennis courts with Donny dennis and Cody. Me dennis and Cody suck. Donny is ok. I’ve come to the conclusion that dennis isn’t the same person around other people, he’s a big jerk to me when Cody or will or someone else is around. I tell him and he’s always just like whatever. But what can ya do. You can’t change someone only they can change themselves, all I can do is pray, and pray, and pray…. And pray some more. I would hate to lose a true friendship of 10+ years because of this. Lata
last night into this morning
so the dark knight was amazing! That movie is so sick! Def my favorite movie of all time. There was so much unexpected stuff that amazed me. Church was awesome, I’m def 100% cinema church, I feel like that’s the place for my family and I. I need lots of prayer for my family and friends. Lata
Marvelous light
I was listening to that this this morning and i noticed something, ive noticed it before but it just hit me really hard like i just got hit by rob, “My dead heart now is beating, my deepest stains now clean.” When i was saved i had the smallest idea of what Jesus could do in my life, and now that im growing in my relationship with Christ each and every day i live on this crazy planet, i see that anything is possible with Jesus, i see what He does in others lives and how He is with them at all times. I have a story to tell! About one week ago Me Will and my friend from Virginia, Brandon, were sitting in my room and will and I were singing marvelous light, Brandon was like how could you guys get so into that, we both answered like huh…. as if we didnt even know what we were doing, he was like its amazing i want that in my life, no lie, it was just like that. We read him a few bible verses to show him how God works in and through people and how amazing He is. We told him that the only to Heaven is through Jesus and he was like ” then giveme some Jesus” and if you know him then you know he talks kinda womanish lol. so he has an attitude lol when he speaks. but anyway. he wanted us to pray for him and stuff so we did right then and there, and then i said a prayer, kinda like Mike did at LP when kids were saved, i said a small part and he repeated after me. Anyway he was saved that night, and went to cinema church the next day, he loved it and said he would love to go back. oh yeah, i lent him my bible and the only thing he read was Genesis 1:1 but that’s ok, at least he got that much, there is a lot in that one verse and i know he realized it.
the dark knight
Its finally here, the dark knight day.. is here! im super excited and cant wait to go to the movie tonight in manchester imax theatre. it better be awesome or the closest person to me will die… jk! oh yeah and my crazy little brother is going….
dennis and dennis play tennis, and a nice dinner in vennice.
The day started off pretty well, i slept at dennis’ house last night and woke at about 10, talked about dreams, my dream went like this, me donny dennis and mere were walking down main street middletown when this little random kid turned into the ship kid from austin powers, he attacked the city and the knocked down the big wierd lookin credit union on one of the side streets off main street, everyone was running around screaming “TERRORIST!!” I went home when the whole thing was over and my mom was like “what do you know about this!? i said “i know nothing” which sounded suspicious, so she grounded me… and then i woke up.. then i went home and ate some Cheerios.
At about 11 or 12 i went back to dennis’ and he said that he had to weed whack at fellowship, while he was doing that i helped matt, zach, will, dennis m and ann with NEW lp construction. Dennis isn’t a real man because he had to come in and get me to take the spool out of the weed whacker and take more plastic out, maybe hes just weak… After I helped him with that i went back inside and helped some more with lp construction. After dennis finished weed whacking we left fellowship at about 2 and then we went to the Wesleyan tennis courts, dennis and i are no good at tennis but were progressing.. i think… there was 2 old guys on a court behind us and they weren’t to good either but they were better than us. today was super hot btw… after tennis we came home and i showered.. then dennis came back for dinner at my house, we had scalloped potatoes with ham and albino broccoli. after dinner he taught me how to use wordpress and here i am. Writing this super long post.. today was good and I’m looking forward to tomorrow night.. lata!
